Rome

Oh Rome you have been the last stop on all 3 times I have been to Italy.

I do love Rome and the mix where ancient meets modern. I mean where else can you be sipping on an espresso, with the Colosseum literally just over the road! Gelato shops tempt you at every corner - make sure you know how to tell the difference between real, traditional gelato vs the tourist trap gelato (hint: it is not the brighter, the better!) Each cobblestone street tells a story, and whether you are exploring ruins, or deep diving into the underground of a Basilica, Rome requires at least a few days. Oh and an absolute must do in my books is a Sunrise EBike tour of Rome. I loved it so much with my family that I took the girls this year as well!
